EXPERT NOTES

Our “Tiny Trials” are the result of exploring the most unique and radical spots, with soils and climatic influences that determine the style of the wine. Small batch and careful vinifications, highlight the grape variety and origin. You’ll love how these old, Cinsault vines have adapted to the sandy granite soils (with just a bit of clay and lots of quartz) of the region, influenced by the closeness of the sea.

- Patricio Celedon (Winemaker)

WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES

Intense, lively red color. The nose is perfumed with fresh aromas of strawberry and cherry, accompanied by an elegant note of pink peppercorn that links to a floral finish. The palate is fresh and lively with smooth tannins that lend a saline–mineral sensation and a long, pleasing finish. Drink now.

TASTE WINE

Look, Smell, Taste and Conclude

VISUAL

You can tell the age of the wine by the color in the glass, also if you look at the legs of the wine you can determine quality aspects

SMELL

When you first start smelling wine, think big to small. Are there fruits? Think of broad categories first, i.e. citrus, orchard, or tropical fruits in whites or, when tasting reds, red fruits, blue fruits, or black fruits. Getting too specific or looking for one particular note can lead to frustration

The Grape

The grape variety is very important to understand a wine.
Grape varieties are considered the most important factor in differentiating a wine

IN YOUR TONGUE

You will be able to perceive that the flavor runs throughout the mouth. You will notice how it runs along the sides, which indicates that it is a quality wine due to its structure.
