Shipping Information

We are the Wine ships within the contiguous 48 states, with the exception of Iowa, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Utah. We do not ship to Puerto Rico, the US Minor Outlying Islands, territories, military jurisdictions, tribally administered autonomous nations, or internationally.

 Orders placed before 2pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, will ship within 48 hours. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are generally shipped the following Monday. You will be notified via email when your order is shipped, and if there are any unforeseen delays.

 By accessing and ordering through this website you are representing yourself as 21 year of age or older. The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. Proof of identity will be required upon delivery as an adult signature is required. If the carrier is unable to obtain an adult signature, the package will be returned to us. You will be credited for the amount of the order less shipping charges for delivery and return. Please make note of your expected delivery time to avoid missing your order. Additional charges will apply if you choose to reship the order after it has been returned.

 If a change of delivery address is necessary, the package will be returned to Tradewinds Earth and shipped to the new address. Please note, the customer is responsible for the additional charges from an address change and a re-shipment.

We are the Wine cannot ship internationally or to any PO, APO, or FPO boxes.

 All orders are shipped via carrier ground at a flat rate per 6-pack of bottles, based on delivery zone and distance from Washington, D.C. Shipments generally take between 4 and 7 days to arrive. If your order needs to arrive on or by a specific date, please communicate that to us in the notes section of your order and we will try our best to accommodate you.

 Products sold through www.wearethewine.com are sold in Washington, D.C., and title of those products passes to the buyer in Washington, D.C. once the transaction is completed. Upon placing an order, the buyer authorizes WrW to arrange shipment of the order to an address specified by the buyer. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment and should be aware of any laws regarding the shipment of alcohol in the buyer’s home state.

 

Product Availability

Like all natural products, inventory and stock of some wines may change rapidly due to demand. Also, vintages may change rapidly for seasonal items such as roses and ciders. Please indicate on your order if you only want a specific vintage/packaging for a specific item. If there are changes to vintages on your order or other extenuating factors we will notify you as soon as possible.
