Highly perfumed red berry, cherry, floral pastille and botanical herb aromas carry a smoky mineral topnote. Vibrant raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show sharp delineation and become sweeter with aeration. This wine shows good depth of flavor while remaining fairly light bodied. It finishes long and precise, with resonating floral and spice notes and polished tannins.

Hints of spiced red fruits, tart plums, roses, and minerals are what you will find as dominating aromas. The wine has a smooth, fresh and delicate feel with lasting flavor. there are some prominient notes of violets and crushed pink peppercorns. the wine is surprisingly low alcohol for the full mouth feel and concentration of flavor. This is a must pick for a Spanish wine that is NOT Tempranilllo.
