Felix Lorenzo Cachazo one of the founders of D.O. Rueda, is a pioneer in reinventing and marketing young verdejo wines of this region. Woman winemaker, Ángela Lorenzo Heras, crafted this blend of 60% Verdejo and 40% Viura to show off the beauty and elegance of the wineries pre-phylloxera vines that are planted in sandy and stony soils.
WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES
A young white wine with intense herbal aromas of fennel, aniseed and balsamic. Extended maturation on the fine lees creates a voluminous silkiness to the stone fruit flavors of peach and quince. Fruity and fresh on the palate, with bright acid and a long finish.
