A grape variety almost exclusive to Chile. This deep cherry-red Carmenere has aromas of ripe red fruits and black pepper. Medium-bodied, flavorful, and very versatile at teh table with dishes ranging from grilled fish to highly seasoned stews.

TASTE WINE

Look, Smell, Taste and Conclude

VISUAL

You can tell the age of the wine by the color in the glass, also if you look at the legs of the wine you can determine quality aspects

SMELL

When you first start smelling wine, think big to small. Are there fruits? Think of broad categories first, i.e. citrus, orchard, or tropical fruits in whites or, when tasting reds, red fruits, blue fruits, or black fruits. Getting too specific or looking for one particular note can lead to frustration
